A huarache 100% handmade in Mexico
Each pair of Alegre is crafted in our workshops in Michoacán, in the heart of Mexico, by artisans who perpetuate an ancestral know-how passed down from generation to generation. The leather braiding is done entirely by hand, directly onto the upper—a traditional technique that requires nearly 16 hours of work per pair. Each huarache is thus unique, a signature of ethical and authentic craftsmanship.

Choosing your size
Braided leather stretches slightly with wear to mold to the shape of your foot. Our recommendations according to your foot type:
- Slim foot: take one size smaller than your usual size for better support
- Normal foot: take your usual size
- Wide or strong foot: take one size larger for more comfort
